Fabío stays with New York Red Bulls - " Hope to see more success from him"

Fábio's journey with New York Red Bulls is not over yet. The club announced that the 24-year-old striker's loan has been extended until the end of 2021.

“We are very happy to extend Fábio through the end of this season,” head of sport Kevin Thelwell said in a club statement. “He has been able to fit in with the team, both on-and-off the field, in such a short amount of time and hope to have continued success while he is here.”

“We have a big trust in Fábio and are excited to have him for the remainder of the year,” NYRB's head coach Gerhard Struber said. “He has been able to learn our system and make an impact already. We hope to see more success from him throughout the year.”

Fábio moved to the Red Bulls on loan from Oeste FC in February this year. In seven games, the Brazilian prepared four goals. However, he has yet to score a goal.
